Client Lending Library

It has long been recognized that the company we keep is extremely important in determining our level of well-being. While many people may not have the opportunity to spend much time with such individuals, it is possible to watch videos and receive a similar but slightly lesser benefit. Some benefit can also be obtained from audio tapes played while driving a car or falling asleep at night. Certain books are also helpful for those who particularly like reading or rarely have the opportunity to listen to audio or video tapes.

Art of Living Psychology has a lending library of videos, audios and books suitable for 'keeping good company'. These are lent free of charge to clients. A deposit of $30 is requested when borrowing commences. This is returned to the client when all items loaned have been returned in satisfactory condition

Meditation Retreat

Time out from our busy lives can be extremely healing, especially if it is used to get quiet and to become more aware of our inner world.

"Vanishing Stream" is a delightful, comfortable, passive-solar design modern three-bedroom double-brick building on five acres adjacent to Mt Buffalo National Park on the northern foothills of Mt Buffalo 7 km. from Myrtleford by bitumen road. There is abundant opportunity for meditative walks in the National Park and the property has hundreds of trees including natives and organically grown nut, citrus and deciduous fruit trees.

It is also possible to ski at Mt. Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt. Buffalo in winter, swim and boat in Lake Buffalo and the Ovens and Buffalo Rivers and enjoy the waterslide at Bright in summer, stroll in the Bright Gorge and bush walk in many parts of the Oven's Valley and the High Plains in spring, autumn and summer, enjoy the autumn festivals in Bright and Myrtleford, and visit the historic towns, waterfalls, wineries and restaurants in the area all year round.

"Vanishing Stream" is comfortably furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen and six single beds with inner spring mattresses, blankets and pillows. Visitors need only bring their clothing, single sheets, a pillow case, a towel, a tea towel and food. "Vanishing Stream" may be rented for a weekend, a week, a fortnight or a month or even longer.
